Useful Information

Track Etiquette

Please feel free to: - Use markers provided instead of sand for long, triple and javelin run ups - Use electrical tape with a drawing pin for the high jump - Lift tape after your event/training has finished - Sign back in all equipment that has been signed out - Place ALL litter in the bins provided - Keep away from all jump pits and mats unless you are competing - they are not play areas Move out of your lane if, during training, a faster athlete comes up behind you, they will shout 'Track' and if safe to do so move to the outer lane - Keep all bags and valuables off the running track - Report any damages to property or equipment to an Aspire staff member

We would ask you not to: -Use spikes longer than 6mm in length and 4mm in diameter for all training and events - Use the inner lanes for warm ups or training - Use the throwing cage except for competition or specific training sessions (a coach or official must be present) - Use the same start position on the track when training - Walk across the centre field at any time - Use mobile phones etc within the track and field area - Use safety pins as markers for run up areas - Consume food within the track and field area - Consume alcohol at anytime within the stadium - Smoke at any point within the stadium or garrison area - No football boots to be worn on the track
